Northamptonshire Archives Early Wills Project blog

Thanks to Francis Howcutt of the Federation of Family History Societies in England (www.ffhs.org.uk) for flagging up an interesting blog entitled Northamptonshire Archives Early Wills Project: Conservation of 28 volumes of Tudor and Stuart Wills.

The blog's purpose is outlined as follows:

This blog is a chronicle of The Early Wills Project to conserve 28 volumes of Tudor and Stuart Wills held by Northamptonshire Archives Service. The work is being carried out by Book and Paper Conservator Alison Faden and began in December 2013.

Although the blog has not been updated since the middle of 2014, it does provide some excellent background content to the project, as well as many well illustrated posts - well worth a read at https://northamptonshireearlywillsproject.wordpress.com.

(With thanks to Francis Howcutt - original story at http://www.ffhs.org.uk/news/news160103.php)
