Ancestry's early Christmas present

Ancestry (www.ancestry.co.uk) seems to be dealing with a bit of pent up frustration, launching a veritable explosion of new material online for Britain.

Firstly, there is one minor release listed as a release on the American page bizarrely, namely the Dorset, England, Tithe Apportion and Maps, 1835-1850. This covers a tax payable to the Anglican Church following the establishment of the Tithe Commutation Commission in 1836. The records have been sourced from Dorset History Centre.
