Heritage Open Day in Cornwall Record Office

From the Federation of Family History Societies (www.ffhs.org.uk):

Following last year’s successful event, Cornwall Record Office will open its doors again as part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme. Visitors will be able to explore the archive’s secure strongrooms by guided tour and view a display of magnificent manuscripts featuring British monarchs. Preservation staff and the Bookbinders in Cornwall group will be on hand to give demonstrations and answer any questions.

The Office will open this Saturday September 8th between 10am and 12.30pm (last tour, 12.15pm). For more information call 01872 323 127 or email cro@cornwall.gov.uk.
