Recent TNA podcasts

The latest podcasts from the National Archives at Kew include Big Ideas: How to turn a tin can into a TARDIS, a 27 minute talk from Mark Merifield on metadata (for digital archivists), and British nationality: subject or citizen?, a 54 minute talk from Mike Pearsall, on the legal status of immigrants over the last 500 years.

The talks can be listened to at http://media.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ or downloaded for free from iTunes.

Now available for UK research is the new second edition of the best selling Tracing Your Family History on the Internet: A Guide for Family Historians. And for those wishing to take Scottish ancestral research a bit further, my next Pharos course, Scotland 1750-1850: Beyond the Old Parish Records, commences May 14th 2014.
