United Empire Loyalists records guide at LAC

Library and Archives Canada has uploaded a blog post detailing its records holdings on United Empire Loyalists - essentially those colonists who fought on the British side during the American Revolutionary War, and who were forced to flee to several Canadian provinces after the Americans' victory.

The LAC guide is accessible at http://thediscoverblog.com/2014/05/08/the-united-empire-loyalists-finding-their-records/ - further records are also held in provincial archives in Canada.
