More free Dropbox space

If you have an Android tablet, Dropbox (www.dropbox.com) is offering more 'cloud space' if you agree to test their latest Android developed software, up to a maximum of 5GB. For more information visit The Only Cog blog at www.theonlycog.com/post/dropbox-offering-up-to-another-5gb-free/.

At the Rootstech conference (www.rootschat.org) in the US just now, cloud computing is being heavily talked about as one of the big areas of growth in the future for genealogists and non-genies alike. So you can test your foot in the water with Dropbox if you haven't tried storing material in the cloud before. You'll get 2GB just for signing up, Android tablet or not.

(With thanks to The Only Cog)
