Lambeg drums and leprechauns

Martin McGuinness, Northern Ireland's Deputy First Minister, is arguing that the Republic of Ireland's 2013 event The Gathering should reflect the Ulster Scots tradition as much as the Irish, and that Northern Ireland
politicians should all support the initiative also. Apparently some unionists at Stormont are refusing to support it because of concerns at images of 'leprechauns and donkeys'. The Belfast Telegraph has the story at www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/local-national/northern-ireland/ireland-tourism-drive-needs-lambegs-as-well-as-leprechauns-16158748.html
