Thanks to Dunbartonshire FHS

A huge thanks to Dunbartonshire FHS for their warm hospitality last night in Milngavie, where I gave a talk on online Irish family history resources. At one point we weren't sure if I would be able to use my PowerPoint, as we had the most glorious sunset glaring at us through the windows and abslutely bleaching out everything with light, but a bit of fancy rearranging of furniture soon saved the day!

The society has been going for some 14 years, but is perhaps the smallest society in Scotland, with just 30 members. It is not a member of SAFHS, and has no website, but if of interest, it meets regularly at Milngavie Library, which can offer details of future meetings etc.
