Opening up Archives project funding

The National Archives at Kew (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk) has received additional funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to guarantee a third year of its successful Opening Up Archives project, which seeks to provide entry into English archives and heritage work for people with non-traditional archival backgrounds.   1. This is great news. Lucky you. Our funding is getting slashed and trashed here in Canada -- so much so that archivists are protesting at the Parliament Buildings today.
