Ancestry adds outward passenger lists collection for UK

Ancestry has released a new passenger records collection UK, Outward Passenger Lists, 1890-1960 at Until now this collection has only been available online via FindmyPast ( This means that Ancestry now has both incoming and outgoing passenger records for the period as recorded by the Board of Trade and now held at London's National Archives (BT26 and BT27).

The collection includes sailing from across Britain, and the whole of Ireland prior to Partition, with sailings for Northern Ireland only from 1922 onwards.
