I recently blogged about the latest Westminster Government file releases from the National Archives at Kew, specifically about a podcast detailing their contents (see http://britishgenes.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/tna-podcast-new-file-releases-from-1982.html).
Tomorrow the National Records of Scotland will also be releasing 400 Scottish Government files which would previously have remained closed for 30 years, and which are now being made up to 15 years earlier. For further details, see www.nas.gov.uk/about/130103.asp.
