The National Archives of Ireland has a new Anglo-Irish Treaty (1921) page, which led to the Partition of Ireland and the departure of the Irish Free State from the United Kingdom. The page includes a facsimile copy of the original treaty, newsreel footage of the signatories, a timeline and more. The page is accessible at
http://treaty.nationalarchives.ie/.
Useful timing for my part, as I have recently been reading a few books on the Anglo-Irish War and the Irish Civil War that followed, to tie in with parts of my wife's family history in Tipperary and Kilkenny - it's amazing how much of my own history I was not taught at school in Northern Ireland in the 1980s.
