National Archives workshops at WDYTYA Live

From Who Do You Think You Are? Live (www.whodoyouthinkyouarelive.com):

The National Archives’ workshops now available to book

Workshops from The National Archives are now available to book as part of The Society of Genealogists’ Workshop Programme. Always popular, these workshops are led by respected speakers from The National Archives and usually sell out in advance.

On Friday, Janet Dempsey’s talk is entitled ‘Tracing Merchant Seamen 1856-1918', while Mark Pearsall will be looking at 'The Land Tax from 1692 to 1963'. On Saturday, William Spencer will be talking about 'Records of Service of the RFC, RNAS and RAF' and Audrey Collins will be giving advice on how to use the new 'Discovery' service from The National Archives.

Further details at the WDYTYA Live site.
