WDYTYA? Live talks notes now available

The notes for the two talks I gave at Who Do You Think You Are? Live are now available online at www.sog.org.uk/events/2012show-handouts.shtml.

My first talk, Discover Scottish Church Records, provided an overview of the history of the Kirk, and a subsequent strategy for tackling the identification of missing events from established church parish registers. My second talk, Irish Research Online, provided an overview of the genealogical basics that can be sourced at home for your Irish research, north and south. I believe that this latter talk should be going either partially or wholly online at the Who Do You Think You Are? Live website in due course.

The Society of Genealogists website, which host the notes, also contains accompanying material for many other presentations given at the event, though not all notes are available yet - so do check back if those for a talk you attended are not yet there.

(With thanks to the Society of Genealogists)
