Apprentice Boys heritage centre for Derry

The Apprentice Boys of Derry have received a £2 million boost to create a new 'Siege Heroes Museum' and 'Shared Space Visitor's Centre' in Derry. The aim is to tell the story of the 1689 siege of Derry, when 13 of the apprentice boys of the town shut the gates of the city to Jacobite forces.
