HMS Caroline to stay in Belfast

Absolutely fantastic news for Belfast's Titanic Quarter - the light cruiser HMS Caroline, last floating survivor of the First World War's Battle of Jutland is staying put in Northern Ireland, rather than making her way to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard as originally planned. £1 million is to be spent on urgent repairs to the vessel which has been gifted to the new National Museum of the Royal Navy in Belfast, and paying visitors will be able to step on board from 2016, the centenary anniversary of the battle.
