Remembering the Senghenydd Disaster

The National Library of Wales is hosting a talk on Wednesday 5th December at 1.15pm, about the Senghenydd pit disaster of 1913 (see www.llgc.org.uk/index.php?id=344&cylchwhat11/12c), in which 439 men and boys were killed in Wales's worst ever mining disaster. The speaker is Neil Evans, who will be looking at postcards issued at the time.
