Ancestry's English records updates

I don't normally announce updates to Ancestry.co.uk collections as the site itself never reports on exactly how they have been updated. An update can be the addition of just one more record, added search terms or more, none of which is ever made clear. Nevertheless, a lot of its English collections are stated to have had an update in the last month, so a quick roll call of those so described:
  • London, England, School Admissions and Discharges, 1840-1911
  • Warwickshire, England, Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1535-1812
  • Warwickshire, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1910
  • Warwickshire, England, Baptisms, 1813-1910
  • West Yorkshire, England, Baptisms, Marriages and Burials
  • Dorset, England, Wills and Probates, 1565-1858

Several of the Jewish based databases have also been updated or launched - full details are at www.ancestry.co.uk/cs/reccol/default.
