National Family History Fair 2012

The National Family History Fair 2012 will be taking place on September 8th 2012 at Tyne Suite, Newcastle Central Premier Inn, Newbridge Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 8BS, from 10am - 4.00pm.  I've been helping out at the fair over the last three or four years, but I'm delighted to say that I will actually be giving a talk there this year entitled Discover Scottish Family History, a beginner's guide to all the wee genealogical things that we do a little differently north of the border! Additional talks will also be given by William Roulston and Gerry Toop, and the place will be packed with all the top vendors from across the UK.

It promises to be another great day, in a very easy to access venue in the centre of Newcastle. For full details, see the fair's web page at

Hopefully see you there!

Chris
