The National Library of Scotland (www.nls.gov.uk) has been awarded £100,000 to establish a new National Sound Archive in partnership with the Tobar an Dualchais / Kist o' Riches project based on the Isle of Skye (www.tobarandualchais.co.uk).

The Press Association has the story at www.google.com/hostednews/ukpress/article/ALeqM5gEus8z05cagryuLiDAK9ueygXIFg?docId=N0348251343000365037A, with the BBC also covering it via its BBC Alba site at www.bbc.co.uk/naidheachdan/18960639 (in Gaelic)
