Progress on Aberdeenshire records digitisation

Just picked up on a Facebook announcement from Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives (www.facebook.com/aberdeencityandshirearchives):

We delivered another van's worth of Aberdeenshire Poor Relief records to General Register House in Edinburgh yesterday, along with twenty or so Aberdeen Burgh Registers dating from before 1562 - all these records are being digitised...we'll keep you posted with progress...

So not just poor relief records then! :)

For some background to the digitisation project, which also includes Moray records, see a post from my old Scottish GENES blog from last October at http://scottishancestry.blogspot.co.uk/2011/10/moray-poor-relief-records-to-be.html.
